CryptoFold is a protocol art work. She's not looking at herself, she's crossing. Each participant receives a unique digital image, prints, folds, and creates a physical form. The work exists both on the blockchain, in matter, and in the gesture of each.
In CryptoFold, the NFT is an access key. It certifies that the image belongs to you and gives you the right to participate in the protocol. Each image is unique, generated and recorded on the Ethereum blockchain.
Implementation — You print your work and fold it according to the instructions of the current season.
Recognition — You photograph your creation. The CryptoFold team validates the execution.
Aggregation — You choose whether your contribution joins the collective work — A mosaic that grows every season.
CryptoFold deploys over time. Every year, a new season introduces new instructions, new gestures. The physical object enriches season after season. The work is never finished.
CryptoFold has a decentralized application, the dApp, accessible from your browser. This is your personal space in the protocol. You will find your works there, follow the season progress, submit your performances and manage your participation. It is accessible via a MetaMask digital wallet, which links your blockchain identity to your experience in the work.
